1898 - Established by John Duff, owner of nearby Longmorn Distillery.
1900 - Purchased by Longmorn Distillery Co. Ltd.
1900 - Distillery closed, floor maltings continue for nearby Longmorn Distillery.
1965 - Rebuilt by The Glenlivet Distillers Ltd. All stills became steam-heated.
1977 - The Glenlivet Distillers Ltd. is taken over by the Seagram Company Ltd. of Canada. Three stills. Floor maltings still in use.
1990 - Floor maltings in use again.
2001 - Seagram merge with Pernod Ricard, distillery open for only three months of each year.
May 2004 - Sold to Intra Trading (Benriach Distillery Company Limited) (Bill Walker, formerly of Burn Stewart, Geoff Bell & Wayne Kieswetter) for approximately £ 5.4 million.
2016 - Company and assets sold to Brown-Forman Corporation for approximately £285 million.
