1879 - Built by D.G. Ross.
1887 - Sold to Scotch Whisky Distillers Ltd.
1893 - Bought by the Ferintosh Distillery Co. Ltd, a subsidiary of Kirker, Greer & Co. Ltd. of Belfast. Renamed Ferintosh Distillery.
1914 - Control of the Ferintosh Company passed 1914 to the Distillers Finance Corporation Ltd, Belfast.
1922 - Distillers Finance Corporation Ltd acquired by the Distillers Company Ltd. (DCL).
1924 - Ferintosh Distillery Co. Ltd liquidated, licence transferred to John Begg Ltd.
1926 - Distillery closed.
Until 1980's - Scottish Malt Distillers Ltd. (SMD) use the distillery buildings as a whisky bond.
1993 - Site sold for redevelopment.
