1829-1831 - Colin Campbell.

1831-1832 - McLennan & Grant.

1833-1835 - George McLennan.

1835 - George McLennan sequestrated.

1837 - Walter Graham (Rhinns Distillery).

1851 - Operating.

1852 - Henderson, Lamont & Co. sequestrated.

1852 - Rhins Distillery & Co. (John McLennan managing partner).

1855 - William Guild & Co. dissolved (partners William Guild and John B. Sherriff).

1855-1895 - John B. Sherriff continued until 1895.

1895 - J.B. Sherriff & Co. was formed to acquire the Lochindaal business, that of William Taylor & Co. of Lochhead, Campbeltown, and sugar and rum estates in Jamaica.

1921 - Acquired by Benmore Distilleries Ltd.

1929 - Benmore Distilleries Ltd. was taken over by the Distillers Company Ltd (DCL).

1929 - Distillery closed and dismantled. Warehouses retained and licensed to Macleay Duff (Distillers) Ltd.

1994 - The malt barns are now occupied by the Islay Creamery.
