1825 - Said to have been built by Lord Belhaven and leased to Patrick Chalmers.

1825-1826 - Todd & Paterson.

1833 - Alexander Jack & Co.

1834 - Robert Strachan.

1848 - Wishaw Distillery & Co., when Lord Belhaven withdrew.

1855 - Patrick Chalmers withdrew and the Wishaw Distillery Co. ceased trading.

Until c.1870 - Continued by J. Munro Mackenzie under the name of Patrick Chalmers.

 c.1870-1894 - The name J.M. Mackenzie & Co. was assumed which was retained until 1894.

1894 - Clydesdale Distillery Co. Ltd. incorporated.

1914 - Founder member of Scottish Malt Distillers Ltd. (SMD).

1919 - Closed and sold to the Distillers Company Ltd. (DCL) as a bond.

1966 - Transferred to Scottish Grain Distillers Ltd. (SGD).

1994 - Still in use as a bond.
