Notes : Bridgend Distillery was custom-built by Donald McEachern Senior in 1818 with a wash still of 146 gallons producing single distillation whisky. It was then run by his son Donald Junior between 1818-21, when the company was wound up and ceased operations.

Information exists that suggests a distillery was licenced to a J. MacFarlane at Bridgend around 1821 with an annual output of 3,937 gallons.*
